What is coaching?

Coaching is a series of insightful, purposeful conversations that empower you to make and sustain meaningful change, to gain clarity and self-define goals that get results and improve your personal well-being and life satisfaction.

There are innumerable scenarios, large or small, that coaching can address. Coaching encourages you to take responsibility and realistic, actionable steps to achieve your desired outcomes and improve the your quality of life.

How do I coach?

I use a non-directive approach, which means you are in control of the pace and direction of your coaching sessions. Research shows that achieving self-defined, meaningful goals is more likely to have a long-lasting positive effect on your wellbeing. Therefore, rather than me telling you what to do, we use powerful questions to uncover and explore the limiting assumptions preventing you from achieving your goals and living your best life.

My coaching is underpinned by rigorous academic research from the fields of applied positive psychology and coaching psychology. I am a member of the Association for Coaching and abide by the Association for Coaching Global Code of Ethics.

We focus on your innate strengths and resources in a way that enhances your psychological wellbeing. By using evidence based coaching techniques, you can be empowered to take action to find your direction, passion and purpose to lead a more fulfilling and satisfying life, so you can become the heroine or hero of your own story and make a positive difference in society.

However, coaching is not just about goals and progression. I provide a safe, confidential and relaxed space to think aloud, without judgement, where your wellbeing is priority. Sometimes unravelling our spaghetti bowl of thoughts in a safe and non-judgemental space, where our words are reflected back for us to digest, is just what we need to gain clarity.

Who benefits from coaching?

Everyone can benefit from coaching, if they are prepared to move out of their comfort zone and create change. It isn’t always easy, though.

However, if there are any areas of your life you would like to change or improve, e.g., motivation levels, social or romantic relationships, parenting, financial situation, hobbies, health and fitness, education, spirituality, career, etc., then I can be a supportive guide on your new adventures.
