Welcome to my blog : )

(3 minute read)

This is one of many blogs to accompany my journey through an Applied Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology postgraduate degree in September 2020. I am taking the course because I want to become the best coach possible, for the benefit of my clients. Ultimately, I want people to flourish and I feel it is an honour and a blessing to be part of their journey.

Why am I telling you this?

  • I want you to know my motives for blogging and that my ramblings do have a reason.
  • I want to share my reflections as a mature student in case they resonate with others in higher education, or those thinking of returning to HE.
  • I am also blogging about my studies to reinforce my learning (my memory is not what it used to be!)
  • It is also my hope that something I write about will inspire and benefit someone somewhere. I do love a win-win situation!

My blog will include posts on (positive) psychology and coaching research, as well as inspiring quotes, cute illustrations by my youngest and photos taken by my eldest and myself. My other passions include Feminine Power, Menstruality Consciousness, Mindfulness and Spirituality, so I will find a way to weave in those topics.

By the end of the course, I hope to have created an archive of my journey, research, tools and techniques that can enhance our well-being.

I will also be accredited by the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC) and create a flourishing coaching business.

However, I am not entirely sure how this blog will evolve, but I am certainly going to enjoy the journey and I hope you do, too.

Onwards and funwards xXx
